Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies

I was asked by my DH to pack some chocolate chip cookies for his trip to UK. Made some mini chocolate chip cookies which is soft, chewy in the inside and with loads of love.
Ingredients: (Makes 30)
Plain Flour- 1-1/4 cup
Baking Powder- 1 tsp
Egg- 1
Brown Sugar- 3/4 cup
Butter- 125 grams
Vanilla essence- 1 tsp
Semi sweet Chocolate  chips-3/4 cup

Method:
  • Butter must be at room temperature.
  • Cream the butter and the powdered brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the egg until well incorporated.
  • Sieve the plain flour and baking powder together.
  • Fold in the flour, chocolate chips and vanilla essence and bring everything together,
  • Chill in the fridge for half an hour so that it is easy to handle.
  • Make small marble size balls and keep them 1 inch apart in a baking tray lined with parchment paper. Place some extra chips on top before baking (optional).
  • Bake in preheated oven at 180 degree C for 12-18 min until the edges turn brown.
  • Take out from the oven and cool completely on a wire rack before storing them in an airtight container.
